DESCRIPTION:

The 2025 Cranbrook Drama Tour is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of cultural immersive learning. Students will enhance their knowledge of the Drama learning outcomes through performance studies in a variety of culturally specific theatrical genres.

Students will travel to Japan, where they will learn from industry artists in the performance styles of Butoh and traditional Noh Theatre. Then a quick trip to Italy will immerse the students in the traditional Commedia dell’Arte style of performance and mask making before they head to England where they will undertake drama workshops with acclaimed theatre companies; Frantic Assembly and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, learning skills in physical theatre and performing Shakespeare.
