WANTED! TRAVEL GANG TRAINEES
Remember the first time you stepped off that bus? New city. New stage. New friends who felt like family.
You weren’t just a student on a Travel Gang trip. You were part of something bigger.
Now we’re asking: have you ever wanted to be a tour guide?
Not a regular guide. A Travel Gang Guide.
We are seeking past students from our Travel Gang adventures to apply for our Travel Gang Traineeship Class of 2027.
This isn’t an internship (we don’t love that word). This is a traineeship for alumni who are ready to inspire the next generation.
Submissions close 03/07/2026.

Being a Travel Gang Trainee Tour Guide is not a 9-to-5 job. It's not a backstage pass to free travel. It is being on, all day – with a smile, even when you're tired. We move fast. Things go wrong. Students get homesick. Flights get delayed. And through all of it, you are the person who says: "We've got this." You don't need to be perfect. You need to be present, positive, and professional.
Core Responsibilities
-
Being on, all day – awake and available from morning to curfew
-
Polite & customer service skills – patience and respect, always
-
Problem solver – solutions, not complaints
-
Caring for students – notice the quiet ones, support the struggling ones
-
Navigation skills – maps, directions, keeping the group together
-
Leadership skills – step up before you're asked
-
Sees adventure on hard days – turn chaos into fun
What You Will NOT Be Asked To Do
-
Manage serious medical or mental health emergencies alone (senior guide handles this)
-
Drive a vehicle (we use professional drivers)
-
Handle large budgets or financial transactions
-
Work without support (you are a trainee – your senior guide is always there)
-
Share a room with students (trainees share with other staff only)
The flight is leaving. We hope you’re on it.
